I recently discovered the work of Lim + Lu via their newly launched Mass series. They are an inter-disciplinary architectural design practice initiated in New York City, currently based in Hong Kong, formed of Vincent Lim and Elaine Lu. Mass series features a reconfigurable sofa, a day bed, and a pull out day bed and was originally designed to complement Lim and Lu’s own colourful apartment. All three pieces are made of stainless steel in a polished brass finish… Meanwhile as I stare at photos of their furniture and apartment, I am creating a very intricate form of house envy.
