Fran Lebowitz once said “you’re only as good as your last haircut” and really, who am I to argue with Fran Lebowitz? Finding a good barber is difficult, in fact it’s almost like dating. How many bad dates/haircuts have you had in your time? Sadly there’s no Tinder for barbers, well not yet anyway. But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. My barber works at Ruffians and I can’t recommend him (or them) highly enough.
Ruffians, hailing originally from Scotland, opened their first London shop a few years ago, starting in Covent Garden before adding an additional branch in Marylebone. Last month saw their first east London store opening in Shoreditch, which is so convenient to me I’m thinking about getting a haircut every damn day. If you haven’t been yet then pop in for a haircut, cut throat razor shave, a quick beard trim or even just to say hello, you won’t regret it.
Ruffians Shoreditch is located at 46-48 Rivington Street, London EC2A 6QP
