Underpinnings are both the love and the bane of my life. I have written about my boobs enough times on the blog for you to know the reason why, but in case you are joining the party a little late, here is my problem: small back, big cups. In other words: the pretty lingerie featured in this post ain’t for me, sadly. But it could be for you, which is why I am writing this today, from a selfless place.
LoveStories Intimates is the brainchild of fashion and interior stylist Marloes Hoedeman. The brand was born out of a desire to create beautiful underwear for herself which would be a combination of high-quality products at an affordable price. She finds her inspiration while exploring and travelling the world, but also in films and literature. Her idea while creating LoveStories was to appeal to women looking for comfortable lingerie to style and wear easily.
I think LoveStories truly shines when it comes to all those lacy little bralettes which are so popular right now and perfect to wear under an oversized white shirt or chunky sweater, just peeking out from underneath… Which is brilliant if you are blessed with a cup size between A and D – the range was recently expended to cater to up to a D-cup which is good, but sadly still not good enough for me. If, like me, you need a D+ size, fret not, because you can still wear all of their other designs, namely their sleepwear (which is awesome) and their equally awesome bodysuits.
