The “Nouvel” Jumpsuit

DSC00748

My birthday is fast approaching and my birthday party is even closer… Much like last year, I am keeping things intimate and just inviting a few of my nearest and dearest to dinner at Jean Jacques in Soho.

Outfit wise, I didn’t want anything overly fussy and I also want to be able to dance all night if needed. And when Monsieur Robot is involved, all night dancing may well happen.

The Catherine Quin “Nouvel” jumpsuit (which is available on Farfetch) is my new crush – easy to dress up or down, ultra luxurious and flattering… And like most of Catherine Quin’s designs, it is also black. I am starting to think Catherine read my mind and designed the item I desperately needed in my wardrobe: something that isn’t a dress to wear in the evening. Paired with my silver Dorateymur Turbo Jet loafers, it is the ideal party partner in crime.

Does this come as a surprise? Not really, because Catherine Quin’s approach to design is very much led by the idea of movement, fluidity and versatility -in other words this former Lincoln’s Inn lawyer turned L.A. based designer makes the clothes we all want to wear, including me. Duh.
