My biggest fashion revelation this year has been L.K. Bennett – I don’t know if it is an age thing, a style thing or all of the above, but I do know there is very little I haven’t loved from the L.K. Bennett collections since the SS15 started trickling into their stores. Their leather leggings had me come out of a decade long skinny jeans rut and the current collection’s Aden Skinny Trousers are also topping my everyday wardrobe charts. So when I was invited by my bestie to spend a day in a poolside cabana at The Peninsula Beverly Hills I knew there was only one outfit in my suitcase that would really cut it!
Basically, these days, when I want to look chic and pulled together, I call upon my fairy godmother at L.K. Bennett! This time, I opted for their Arta Colour Block Shirt (which can easily be worn as a dress, I am 5’7″ and it is far from indecent proposal territory) paired with the Virna Sandals from their totally awesome Laura Bailey Collection and I finished the look with one of their bucket bags (similar to the cult Jenna) in denim and navy leather. Head to toe blues to go with the beautiful pool hues – I felt right at home! I loved my outfit so much that day I made sure to get a Butter London manicure to go with it, while sipping on an iced coffee poolside at the Peninsula!
I am wearing: Arta Colour Block Shirt, Virna Sandals, Jenna Bucket Bag – all from L.K. Bennett + Zanzan sunnies.
This is a collaboration with L.K. Bennett – with thanks to the Peninsula Beverly Hills
