Whenever I am interviewed, the question that keeps coming back (aside from “where does your name come from?”) is “what inspires you?”. My answer, invariably is “everything around me”. You know I am a bit of a fashion week grump, a press day recluse and entirely anti-social when it comes to fashion related events. In summary: I don’t play the game much. So I have to rely on different sources of inspiration: friends, people in the street, some magazines, films, TV shows and many other slightly more obscure sources such as architecture, landscapes and the topic of the day – animals.
