It seems that every season, Dagmar produces one piece that’s just the perfect “want it now” item. For Autumn-Winter it was a camel military coat that I still dream about. For SS14, they designed the ideal biker jacket. You know how much I love a good biker, right? It is the simplest, chicest version of a biker jacket. No extra embellishments, no extra fastenings, just soft leather and great lines. After it went past me on the runway, I couldn’t quite focus on the collection anymore.
I can tell you a few things though… This Spring collection is mostly about the dichotomy between Stockholm’s day and night life, inspired by Rebecka Bebben Andersson’s artwork Nolli Stockholm that maps out the different areas of the city, from safe to rough. Bright and pure silhouettes become darker and darker, the lines go from floaty to sharp.
