Taqueria is by far the best Mexican restaurant in London, but also one of the only authentic Mexican food places – most of the others are actually tex-mex or just fast food type burrito shops (which I also like). The name is quite a hint as to what you will find there: mainly tacos, all sorts of them, at least in the evening. They also serve a mean brunch/lunch.
All the tortillas are made fresh on their very own machine lovingly named “El Monstruo” and they are served with sustainable fish, free range eggs, organic meat, making the food tasty and eco-conscious. I often go there at the weekend for brunch with my little family (they have a kickass kid’s option) but these photos were taken last week when I visited Taqueria with my friends Claire and Sarm. Between the three of us we were able to sample quite a lot of the extensive tacos menu. Nom!

Traduction – Taqueria est le meilleur restaurant Mexicain de Londres, et aussi le plus authentique. Les autres sont plutôt Tex-Mex ou bien des fast-food améliorés où l’on mange des burritos (je ne crache pas dessus non plus, notez). Comme son nom l’indique, Taqueria sert principalement des tacos de toutes sortes pour le diner, mais ils ont aussi un menu alléchant pour le brunch/déjeûner.
Les tortillas sont faites sur place dans leur machine “El Monstruo”, et sont servies avec du poisson, de la viande ou des oeufs (le tout bio). J’y vais souvent prendre le brunch dominical avec ma petite famille (ils ont un menu enfant vraiment super) mais les photos de ce post on été prises lors d’un diner avec des copines la semaine dernière.
