Keeping warm

These days, when I am not working, I am obsessing over ways to keep warm. Last night for example I spent about an hour browsing through 50 pages of boots on asos, looking for the perfect pair. I even roped my husband into it. I have a whole email thread with my sister where we share our Winter shortcomings. She has found the perfect winter booties at Pierre Hardy. They are a sheepskin lined version of my crepe sole wedges and are apparently a godsend. I have an eye on some Sonia Rykiel ones… Who knows where this mad quest will take me! In the meantime, I have been wearing my lace-up Swedish Hasbeens a lot. And when I say a lot, I mean an awful lot. They are pretty amazing in this weather and they resist to pretty much anything, but they are not lined. And my feet are still cold. I am sure anyone would be just fine with unlined boots, but this year is the year my body starts acting its age I suppose… and I am c-o-l-d.
Coats were also an issue, but that’s been sorted out, thanks to Sessun and Urban Outfitters, which is really good as layering really isn’t a good look for me. No really, take my word for it.
How are you keeping warm? I am seriously considering hibernation. If only that was a socially acceptable option…
