I must really love you guys, because I am currently sitting in my living room on a Wednesday morning in full bridal make-up… except I am not getting married today, so I guess anyone who sees me today will find me strangely attractive and glowy. I suppose that is a good thing, considering I woke up looking like a zombie potato (thexthy).
It is wedding season at the moment and I know a few people are getting married soon (including my sister *squeals*) so I thought I’d share with you my bridal make-up tips. This is the look I chose for my wedding in April. The idea is very simple: you want to achieve a flawless base and make sure you get rid of unwanted redness or shine. On your wedding day you are going to be papped like crazy so you want a make-up that’s subtle but efficient, but also really natural and romantic. Believe it or not, but it is actually easy.
I really hate having my make-up done, so there was no way I would get it done on my wedding day… If you are like me or if you just want to save your pennies, then hopefully this video will help you.
Here is a list of the products I used, I already had everything at home. I would advise you to use make-up you are already familiar with, your wedding is not the right time to start experimenting.
Base:
– Rimmel Clear Complexion Cover Stick
– Max Factor Seamless Foundation
– Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
