As promised, here is my utterly understated Halloween costume. You know, just a simple, casual daytime look.
Taking the tube in this outfit was an interesting experience...
Did you take photos f your Halloween costumes? If you did, send them to me, I want to see!

I love historical costumes! Marie Antionette would be so fun to do...
ReplyDeleteThat's great, historical costumes are indeed fabulous! (I think I've totally over-used that word today when commenting on peoples' costumes).
ReplyDeleteI went to a party as Amy Winehouse - http://sparkleandglitter.wordpress.com/2008/10/31/they-tried-to-make-me-go-to-rehab/
What was the make-up you used? I am particularly curious about the white face-paint. Sooo hard to find one that is opaque, that is not to cak-y and that does not streak...
ReplyDeleteaah! that's perfect! you must keep that wig for non-halloween shenanigans!
ReplyDeletegah I tried posting this earlier and I guess it didn't work : /
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit! Somebody on the PRD forums was going to be a zombie Marie Antoinette. I bet the wig and the dress got a little warm throughout the night!
I was a punky flapper...here's some photos:

I was some kind of marquise/cancan girl - really, my outfit was devised at the last minute, just to show off my new corset!
